Engagement Strategists at Ogilvy Denmark/Grey Health EMEA play a vital part in developing and executing impactful engagement strategies for our clients in the healthcare and life science industries, specifically within the context of promotional healthcare communications. This role requires a deep understanding of audience dynamics within the healthcare space, exceptional communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a strong grasp of scientific and strategic principles. You will craft compelling narratives, design engaging experiences, and develop content based on scientific understanding, product attributes, and data analysis.
Strategic: Development: Lead the development and implementation of engagement strategies aligned with client objectives, brand guidelines, and promotional healthcare communication best practices, focusing on maximizing audience interaction and impact. This includes setting a clear strategic direction for campaigns and ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategy.
Audience Insight: Develop a deep understanding of target healthcare audiences (HCPs, patients, etc.), including their needs, motivations, and preferred communication channels. Conduct user/audience needs assessments, understand segmentation models, and perform gap analyses.
Content Creation: Develop creative and engaging content across various platforms (digital, print, experiential), tailored to specific audience segments within the healthcare industry. This includes crafting promotional materials based on scientific and strategic understanding, interpreting product attributes and data.
Channel Optimization: Identify and leverage the most effective channels to reach target healthcare audiences and achieve campaign objectives. Utilize social media listening tools and generate insights from search data.
Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic counsel on engagement best practices. Work closely with cross-functional teams (creative, account management, medical, legal, etc.) to enable a seamless integration of engagement strategies across all activities. Ensure that creative teams understand the strategic framework and regulatory constraints.
Analysis & Research: Conduct discovery and research against project objectives, including landscape and competitive analyses, constructing surveys and interviews, and synthesizing research findings into presentations.
Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in the digital health space. Promote new approaches to healthcare communication within the agency.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful engagement strategies, specifically within the healthcare industry.
Experience working with a variety of digital platforms and social media channels, including social listening tools.
Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, relevant regulations, and promotional medical communication strategies. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and storytelling skills. Proactive problem-solver with a positive and collaborative attitude.
Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear and engaging content. Experience working with multi-disciplinary client teams (marketing, medical, legal).
