Are you our new Senior Medical Communications Strategist? 

Ogilvy Health are looking for a Senior Medical Communications Strategist who loves to see the bigger picture while paying attention to the smallest details.

About the position:

Being a Senior Medical Communications Strategist with us means answering a wide array of exciting, strategic challenges – providing scientific and medical insight to support all kinds of pharma-related activities while developing communication material for clients in the healthcare and life science sector. With the opportunity to work closely with both local affiliates and global client teams, this position offers a unique chance to shape and influence medical communication at every level.  

Roles & responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute medical communication strategies that align with client objectives 
  • Develop creative and engaging communication concepts 
  • Provide scientific and medical expertise that supports all aspects of communication material development, including reviewing and translating scientific or medical content for creative teams 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that communication strategies are integrated across channels and tactics 
  • Define creative ways to communicate complex medical/scientific concepts to a variety of different stakeholders, both internal and external 
  • Support the development of solutions that will help modernise the healthcare environment

Qualifications & minimum requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (healthcare, life science, or communication with a life science focus) 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical/health communications, medical writing, or another related field 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to digest complex information and translate science, strategy, and technical insights into compelling copy 
  • Native Danish speaker with excellent writing skills and great attention to detail  
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
